Design and construction of gardens
The ATHISA MEDIO AMBIENTE “Linea Verde” designs and constructs exterior spaces integrated into the Landscape. After the vision and the planning process has been completed, we continue with detail design and construction drawings.

The detail design process further develops the project’s image and character. These drawings are then the blueprint to making the vision of the project become reality.



Maintenance of garden areas
Continuous maintenance of green spaces is fundamental in achieving a successful and healthy plant micro-world. We have a complete programme of maintenance for public parks, public or private gardens or for children recreation areas.

Phytosanitary treatments
To avoid spreading and contagion, we propose the prevention of possible foci of pest and infections that threaten vegetation through efficient and non toxic phytosanitary treatments.

These treatments maintain the plants in good health while protecting them from all environmental aggressions: insecticides, disinfectants, nutritional supplements, mineral bio- nutrients, herbicides and fungicides.

Fertilizers
Every plant has its particular needs to enable development. This information enables us to decide which fertilizer is the most beneficial for each plant.

Pruning of plants, trees and shrubs
We prune plants not only for aesthetic reasons but also to avoid their excessive growth and spreading Plants with too many leaves or branches or that are dry and unsightly also need to be well pruned.

We prune plants in the appropriate season: removing the sick or dead branches, thinning out the crown to compensate for the possible loss of roots, and curing its injuries to avoid sickness. We prune the shrubs by removing badly directed dry stems or those with pests or infections and those growing beneath the graft. It is a moderate pruning which stimulates the development of new branches.

Lawn mowing
We maintain lawns at the appropriate height and with the appropriate tools,
obtaining a visual harmony in all type of meadows and garden zones.

Watering
Water is fundamental in the maintenance of green spaces especially in the Mediterranean climate. The ground is watered when planting and subsequently watered according to the climate of the zone. We economize the use of water as much as possible through the implementation of correct programming and equipment.

Cleaning
The accumulation of dust on leaves clogs the pores that enable plants to take in carbon monoxide and oxygen. Cleaning by spraying the leaves maintain the natural health and beauty of the plants. Complementary to this activity is the removal of fallen leaves, twigs and other urban waste and its correct disposal.

Machinery and hand tools
We use the most innovative tools for garden maintenance: rubbish-clearers, blowers, riding and push mowers, chainsaws, etc….
